Niccimon, the competence center of Lower Saxony for information systems for mobile usage is proud to announce the Joint 2nd Workshop on Positioning, Navigation and Communication 2005 (WPNC'05) & 1st Ultra-Wideband Expert Talk (UET'05), which will take place at Hannover, Germany, 17 March 2005, right after CeBIT'05.

Description

Mobile position aware systems combined with modern wireless technologies are getting more and more important. When developing systems of this kind, problems in various fields of information and communication technology need to be solved. The workshop shall give an overview of state-of-the art approaches and systems. In this context the expert talk will focus on the upcoming ultra-wideband technology.

Submission Guidelines

Full-paper or Poster submissions in the form of extended abstracts (max. 3 pages) are requested electronically in PDF- or PS-format in English language until 07. Jan. 2005 to workshop2005@wpnc.net. With acceptance, complete contributions of up to 10 pages for full-papers and up to 6 pages for posters are expected until 18. Feb. 2005.

Publishing

The workshop proceedings in book-form will be published in the series "Hannoversche Beitr├Ąge zur Nachrichtentechnik" by SHAKER publishing.
