Full-paper submission guidelines

1.) Creating your paper. All papers (oral or poster presentations) must be written in English and can be submitted either a) as IEEE Xplore compatible Portable Document Format files (PDF) or b) as MS Word or LaTeX source files of up to 6 pages. Although IEEE does not require a specific format for their conference articles, IEEE eXpress Conference Publishing provides optional MS Word and LaTeX templates free for use. Please use these templates! The proposed generic templates for typesetting your paper then can be found at: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html. Please use the A4 page format. In case you are not uploading source files, but instead want to create your own IEEE Xplore compliant PDF, in such case please see also the IEEE "Simplified Requirements for Creating PDF Files for IEEE Xplore". Click here to download the Acrobat Distiller job options file.

Please do not forget to include the IEEE copyright notice on the first page of your paper! The appropriate copyright clearance code notice is to appear on the bottom of the first page of each paper according to the guidelines set forth in the Cataloging/Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceeding. Detailed instructions can be found here.

For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government wonk not protected by U.S. copyright.

For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-4799-4671-6/14/$31.00 ©2014 Crown.

For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-4799-4671-61141$31.00 ©2014 IEEE.

2.) Checking your file. Authors are required to check and/or convert their files using IEEE PDF eXpress Plus. To do so, authors have to use their existing or create a new IEEE PDF eXpress plus account and create a new title for each paper first. Please use our WPNC'14 conference ID "34090X" for PDF eXpress Plus. See the detailed instructions for further details.

3.) Submitting your Paper. Once you have converted or checked your paper on PDF eXpress plus and the paper passes the conformance test, log back in to your PDF eXpress Plus account and approve your PDF for collection.

Please do not forget to fill out an IEEE copyright form, and fax it to +49 351 462 2193. This is mandatory to get your paper accepted for publication in IEEE Xplore.

The copyright form can be found here.

Please do NOT use the e-copyright form!

4.) Registering for WPNC'14. Please notice that at least one author of each paper must register for the workshop in order to get the paper published.
